CCM Saturday Blog Hop - Pumpkin Spice
Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Hop theme is Pumpkin Spice, so basically anything pumpkin-y! I love pumpkin in many forms, not just the traditional pie or bread. In fact, it's the secret ingredient that I put in a lot of things you'd never suspect! But oddly enough, I'm not fond of the pumpkin spice lattes that so many are crazy about. I'm weird like that. 😁
Today's card features the gorgeous gourds in their colorful variety found in the All About Autumn Specialty DSP. Sadly, it's completely sold out now and won't be back in stock.
The Pretty Peacock and copper DSP strip on the left side is the other side of the pumpkin print. I do love that little bit of shine, and the copper ribbon coordinates beautifully.
That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Up next is Libby Fens at Libby Stamps. Or click the "back" button to go back to Lori at Loritamarie Crafts.

CCMC7792 - Color Challenge
The Thursday Challenge this week is colors, and aren't these a lovely combination?!
I'm in full holiday mode now, so I pulled out the online exclusive So Very Merry set and got to coloring! After stamping and coloring the bird, I blended a faint bit of Moody Mauve for a little glow around the bird.
I did a little surgery on the greeting stamp by snipping about halfway through the stamp between the words "Peace and" so I could bend the stamp more to fit the circle.
The All About Autumn Specialty DSP had these exact colors (yippee!), so it was easy to make a background for the focal point. Sadly, that DSP is now sold out and won't be available anymore. Boo! The bow was made by cutting a piece of burlap ribbon in half lengthwise for a narrower bow.
