CSF Thursday Challenge - CSF944

This week's Create With Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge are the colors Secret Sea, Pool Party, and Timid Tiger. Those colors felt a bit floral-y to me and I would have used Stampin' Blends to color the image, but the Secret Sea Blends are so dark that the details in the leaves would have been lost.

 

So I pulled out my trusty ol' Blender pens, because I can control how light or dark the ink is by how much I pick up with the tip. I haven't used them in a long time and forgot how fun it is to color with them!

 

I chose an image from the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP, colored it and cut it out. It was popped up on the Secret Sea scalloped die cut, with a few Pearl Adhesive-Backed Faceted Dots added. The strip of Pool Party was embossed with the Rustic Check 3D embossing folder for added texture. Those faceted dots will be available in the Online Exclusives starting Nov. 3rd.
