CSF Thursday Challenge - CSF884

This week's Create With Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge are the colors Basic Beige, Pecan Pie and Early Espresso. The Woven Textures DSP has all those colors, so that was my starting point.

I grabbed the beige and espresso sheets from the pack, and added them to a Pecan Pie card base. It's really starting to finally feel a little like fall here (breaking out the hoodies soon!), so I chose the More Than Autumn bundle to build the card. Cider should be hitting the stores soon followed by eggnog, which will make my hubby very happy. 😊

Stamped the cup using Early Espresso on Basic Beige and colored with Light & Dark Pecan Pie and Light Crumb Cake Blends. After stamping the greeting, I tapped the Light Pecan Pie Stampin' Blend over the label to create the spatters.

Measurements
  • Card base: Pecan Pie 4-1/4" x 11" scored/folded at 5-1/2"
  • DSP strips: 1-1/4" x 4-1/2"
  • Mat behind strips: Early Espresso 1-3/8" x 4-5/8"
  • Greeting label: Basic Beige 2-1/4" x 3-1/4"
  • Mat behind label: Early Espresso 2-3/8" x 3-3/8"

CSF Saturday Blog Hop - Pink Champagne

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is the song by Ariana Grande, Pink Champagne. I'm not familiar with it, since I'm kind of a fossil, but ask me anything about Classic Rock, lol! I do know about the beautiful array of pink colors in the SU color collections, and it was difficult to narrow it down to just a few for this card.

I'm using the soon-to-be released Christmas Greenery bundle for this card. Just 11 more days until it's available to all! The image was stamped and colored with the Stampin' Blends listed below, although there are filler stamps for the images if you aren't into coloring. The ribbon behind the image was split lengthwise for a lighter look behind the delicate florals.

That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Up next is Libby Fens at Libby Stamps. Or click the "back" button to go back to Lori de Groot at Loritamarie Crafts.

CSF Thursday Challnge - CSF883

This week's Create With Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge is a slimline card sketch. I haven't made one of these in a while, so this was really fun. And guess what? There is absolutely NO stamping, coloring, or die cutting on this card!

Almost everything I used, with the exception of the Basic Beige card base and ribbon, the red striped background, and the gold foil behind the images, is from the upcoming Sep-Dec mini catalog.

I love those sparkling sequins (no surprise, right?)! Self adhesive, easy-peasy to apply, and there is gold, Old Olive, Real Red, and Pool Party in the pack. 👍

The finished card measures 3-1/2" x 8-1/2" and will fit in a business size envelope. The red striped background is a card base from the Textured Stripes Card & Envelopes, cut in half to measure 3-1/8" and then trimmed down to 8-1/8". The ribbon hides the score line where you would fold the card.

  • Stamps: None!
  • Paper: Basic Beige, Gold Foil Sheets, Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match Specialty Designer Paper*, Textured Stripes Mix & Match Cards & Envelopes
  • Ink: None!
  • Accessories: Greetings For You Mix & Match Ephemera Pack*, Basic Beige Classic Ribbon, Traditional Sparkling Sequins*
*Found on pages 15 and 23 of the mini catalog. Need a catalog? Let me know!

CSF Saturday Blog Hop - Behind These Hazel Eyes

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is brought to you by Kelly Clarkson's song, so we are featuring browns, greens, and gold. My father had hazel eyes, and my daughter does, too. I got stuck with plain old brown, but my hubby and son have blue eyes, lucky guys!

Today's card is a sneak peek at a new bundle called Amber Autumn that's coming in the Sep-Dec catalog. I really love the images (fun to color!) as well as the greetings and the fonts they used. This will be available to order when the new mini catty goes live September 3rd. Isn't it gorgeous?!

Everything else on the card is current. The oak leaves and acorns were stamped with Early Espresso, then colored with the Stampin' Blends listed below. After die cutting it, I popped it up on mini dimensionals over the gold Spotlight on Nature circle.

The greeting was stamped in Mossy Meadow and die cut with a Stylish Shapes die. (I ran it through the machine twice to shorten the ends.) The smaller banner is Pecan Pie, and both are popped up on dimensionals, as well.

Measurements

  • Card base: Mossy Meadow 4-1/4" x 11", scored/folded at 5-1/2"
  • First layer: Pecan Pie 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"
  • Second layer: DSP 3-5/8" x 4-7/8"
  • Circle: Gold foil cut with 2-3/4" die

CSF Thursday Challenge - CSF882

This week's Create With Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge are the colors Timid Tiger, Petunia Pop, and Coastal Cabana.

I stamped and die cut the flowers from Impressions Abloom, and used a Sentimental Framing die for the greeting.

Celebratory Sips DSP was used for the background. I'm sorry, I forgot to note the measurements before this went on its way!
