Lots of Lavender SAB Sneak Peek

This free stamp set from the upcoming Sale-A-Bration flyer is simply beautiful, and can be used several ways. It's a photopolymer 2-Step stamp set, with line artwork than can be stamped and colored with the filler stamps (the 2-Step part), or stamped and colored with your choice of coloring tools.

I showed both ways here so you can compare the difference.  The filler stamps are kind of loose and free-form - not meant to match the line art exactly. That makes it less stressful in trying to line everything up!

The first card was stamped with Memento black ink, and the filler for the flowers was inked with Rich Razzleberry, stamped off once. The leaves are Old Olive, also stamped off, and the bow is Bermuda Bay.

The second card was stamped in black like the first, but I colored the image with Stampin' Blends Markers. I have to tell you, as much as I LOVE coloring, if I needed a quick card, I'd go for the filler stamps. When I get the Stamparatus (stamp positioning tool), I'll show you how quick and easy it is to do 2-Step stamping!

I wanted a scripty "Hello" greeting, and found it in the Eastern Beauty stamp set. I did use Basic Black Archival ink, because it stamps darker than the Memento. I just couldn't use it with the Stampin' Blends!

That yummy Lemon Lime Twist DSP is in the new Tutti-Frutti DSP stack, and pairs perfectly with the LLT 3/8" Mini Striped Ribbon. As you can see, it's supple enough to make a nice bow.
