Christmas Snow

Weekend before last I was scrambling to get more Christmas cards finished. As I was pawing through one of my racks of DSP, I found some retired Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum that I had been hoarding carefully saved in my extensive collection. I don't know why I hadn't used it before, but this seemed like a good opportunity to show it some love.

The Merry Little Labels bundle (another retiring item) made this a surprisingly quick card to put together. I attached the vellum to the card base with a few tiny dots of glue hidden behind the design. Then it was just a matter of matting some Merry Little Christmas DSP on a strip of Basic Black, adhering a foil snowflake and a swirl of Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon, and popping the punched greeting up on dimensionals. Oh, and adding a few rhinestones, because.....well, you know.

It's been pretty darn cold here the past week or so, so I'm really hoping ol' Mother Nature will make it worthwhile and bring some snow. I'm dreaming of a white Christmas, how about you?
