Stampin' Blends SNEAK PEEK!

Be still my heart! Stampin' Up! just released their new Stampin' Blends alcohol markers for demonstrators to try before they are available for customer order. Well, you KNOW I had to have them as soon as I could get my hands on them, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! I am happy to report that the issues they had with the previous markers have been resolved!!!

As you can see in the photo below, there are twelve colors* in light and dark shades, plus an Ivory and Bronze for skin tones and a colorless Color Lifter (for fixing mistakes or adding a look of texture). Please note that my photo is kind of washed-out.....the colors are much more vibrant in real life. As with other alcohol markers, blending is a breeze, with no worries of stripes or splotchiness, or of the paper pilling up. LOVE!

I used the Color Lifter to add the polka dots on the yellow leaves beside the greeting, and to pull some color from the leaf above the greeting, as well.

Stampin' Up! anticipates the customer launch date will be before the end of the year, but there is no firm date yet. I'll let you know when there is! They want to see how the sales go to their demonstrator base so they can make sure they have enough in stock for customers. But you CAN get it in your Starter Kit of you sign up by October 15th (the cut-off date for demo preorders)!

By the way, the Just Add Color Specialty DSP that was used on this card is one of the items in the Buy Three, Get One Free DSP sale this month. Just sayin'.
