Making Quilts with the Quilt Builder Framelits (Sneak Peek!)

I am posting on a day that starts with T to make up for missing a few days last week. Do you forgive me? One of the cards we made last week in the monthly stamp club was this cute quilt card. We used the Quilt Builder Framelits Dies to cut two different sheets of Petal Garden DSP and then pieced (glued) the quilt into the Whisper White frame that we had also die cut. It was fun, and we didn't even have to worry about precise 1/4" seam allowances! Since the DSP has designs on two sides, we got to choose how we wanted our blocks to look.

After piecing the quilt block, we then "quilted" it with the Quilt Top Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. All of these items will be available in the Holiday catalog that starts September 1st. They are part of the Quilted Christmas Suite, but I love the fact that they can be used ANY time of year!

I made the Old Olive card as a sample for the stamp club, and then made the Calypso Coral one along with the other stampers. Which one do you like the best? I'm having a hard time choosing!

That lovely large hello greeting is from the Hello Friend stamp set which is available in both wood and clear-mount options. It has other lovely elements, too!
