Daisy Delight Sneak Peek

Here is a sneak peek at the Daisy Delight bundle that is on page 127 of the new catalog, which includes that stamp set and matching daisy punch. I don't have the sweet Delightful Daisy DSP (yet), so I made my own patterned paper using the Diagonal Stripe background stamp, and the daisy trio included the in stamp set.

This cheery card uses one of my favorite color combos. B&W with any other bright color just looks so beautiful together, but with yellow it is especially striking!

After stamping the stripes in one direction, I rotated them 90 degrees and stamped again, creating that gingham check look. The only downside to making a checked pattern like this, is you are limited to creating a pattern that is 4-1/4" square, due to the size of the stamp. But that's okay....if I wanted the whole background to be checkered, I'd piece it and use ribbon or a strip of cardstock to cover the seam.

Did you notice I quit petting the Glitter Enamel Dots and used some? *grin*

Cardstock cuts
 Gingham: Whisper White  2" x 4-1/8"

    1. Thanks, Susie! Are you a fan of gingham checks, too? I've loved it since I was a little girl.....and I'm not telling how long ago THAT was!
