Friendliest Flower Thanks

Every time I see daisies, I am reminded of Meg Ryan's line in You've Got Mail about them being so friendly. Kathleen: "Don't you think daisies are the friendliest flower?" as she's sniffling and blowing her nose. Love that movie!

Anyhoo, the Succulent Framelits just happen to have three sizes of a daisy-like flower, and it worked so well on this simple card. Navy and white look really snazzy together; add in a bit of yellow for the flower centers, and it's just perfect!

The navy striped DSP is from Floral Boutique, which is entirely navy and white patterns. That was the very first DSP I got when the new annual catalog came out, since I love anything blue!

Here's the "How To"
 Greeting: Whisper White 2-1/2" x 3"
 Daisies: Whisper White Thick 2" x 5"
Daisy Background: Night of Navy 2" x 5-1/4"
 DSP background: Floral Boutique 4" x 5-1/4"
Card base: Whisper White Thick 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored & folded at 4-1/4"
  1. Using the Succulent Framelits die cut three of the largest daisy in Whisper White Thick. Stamp greeting using Night of Navy ink and cut with the largest label die in the Stylish Stems Framelits.
  2. Adhere Navy background to DSP, and then to card base.
  3. Adhere daisies over navy panel with dimensionals, cut in quarters. Color three of the largest dots from White Perfect Accents with a yellow Sharpie or alcohol ink marker. (I used Copic Y19.) Adhere to flower centers.
  4. Adhere greeting with dimensionals.
