Avant-Garden Birthday

Quickie card today. Sorry I missed posting yesterday; I had a nagging headache, and just didn't feel crafty at all. Feeling better today though, especially since Mr. Brown brought another box of stamping goodies to play with!

The new Avant-Garden stamp set that's available in the Sale-A-Bration flyer makes it so easy to make a quick, pretty card, pretty quickly. (Heh heh)

The background is from the Falling in Love DSP. I just stamped the flowers and spots right on it using Sweet Sugarplum ink, then stamped the flower centers, stems, leaves, and greeting in Early Espresso. Kind of an unusual color combination, but I think it really works! You know me....I felt it needed "something", so I added a 1/4" strip of Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper for added interest.

This would be a great card to make in multiples for your card stash. Seriously - look at how few products were used!

Here are the measurements:
 DSP: Falling in Love 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"
 Glimmer strip: Blushing Bride 1/4" x 5-1/8"
 Card base: Early Espresso 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored & folded at 4-1/4"
