Technique Challenge - Clear Block Stamping

This week's Technique Challenge #64 over at Stampin' Addicts is clear block stamping.  It occurred to Sharon Field, a Stampin' Up demonstrator stamping genius, to use a Clear-Mount Block as a stamp!  The beauty of this is (besides the beautiful background image), the clear acrylic blocks are a snap to wipe clean when you are finished.  You can either ink up the regular way by tapping block on pad, or ink it up and then draw it across the pad for a neat linen look.

See that cute tab peeking out under the bow?  That's a sneak peek at a portion of the new Decorative Label Punch that's in the upcoming new Holiday Mini catalog!  And yes, there will be stamps to match!!!

  2. Love this technique. I have also just learned that you can turn those clear stamps over, stamp a filled in image with a light color, then turn the stamp the correct way and over stamp the image you just stamped. Love how that looks...

I am going to love that punch. I already want it. LOL
