Card for Trent

I made this card today for my grandson, Trent. His favorite colors are red and black (in that order), can you tell? He is absolutely the sweetest little boy, very loving, and suffers from "bull in the china shop" clumsiness. I guess that goes along with being seven years old, LOL.

Anyway, I tried to make a card that wasn't too girly. I did put some ribbon on it, but it was ribbon he mentioned that he liked when he was here at Christmas making Thank-you cards, so I think it will be okay. :-D

Cardstock: Stampin' Up! Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White
Stamps: Images- Stampin' Up! "Bugs and Slugs" (mostly), Sentiment- High Hopes
Ink: Stampin' Up! Real Red, Basic Black
Embellishments: Stardust Clear Gelly Roll glitter pen, brads & ribbon from Michael's

  1. I am SO loving this "buggy" card! It is just perfect for little boys...cute enough for Mom to like and gross enough for boys to like! LOL I will be a your house ASAP to steal that stamp set...Just hand it over and no one gets hurt! hehehehe

  2. I love this card and so will he. I just love looking at all the creative stuff you do. Someday, I might get somewhere near as creative as you!

  3. Oh this is brilliant, I love this card Cindy.

  4. This is a great card! The second I saw it, I thought "boy". The ribbon makes me think of a little dotted buggy trail.

Thank you for visiting - I'd love to hear from you!
